HELP US BRIDGE THE DIGITAL DIVIDE!

During the pandemic, Common Good Atlanta watched how technology became the center of how we communicate. We noticed a digital divide between our formerly incarcerated students and the rest of society. In an effort to combat this, Common Good Atlanta has intentionally worked to bridge the gap.

In partnership with Kennesaw State University, CGA offers the Clemente course via Zoom for formerly incarcerated people. With the help of generous donations, we have provided students both newly released and at transitional centers with Chromebooks and headsets so they can fully participate in the class. With some of our students either lacking or having poor internet access, we have found that mobile hotspots have worked to solve those connectivity issues.

Our mission is to provide democratic access to higher education to people impacted by incarceration, and in today's world, that is through the support of technology!

The Digital Divide keeps formerly incarcerated people from education. Help us bridge the divide by donating today!

By providing these resources, students can experience and sharpen their knowledge of how technology works. This assists with any future endeavor and creates an online community engaging in the curriculum on a higher level.

Every dollar raised directly supports Common Good Atlanta's mission and enables us to provide higher education to those impacted by incarceration across Georgia.
